The city and County of San Francisco is based in the California state of USA. The Spanish explorers at the Golden gates port in 1776; the gold rush in 1848, San Francisco was destroyed and rebuilt after a terrible earthquake in 1906. Since then city has been the cultural, social, economic and transport center for the San Francisco Bay area. It was also the breeding ground of the Silicon Valley boom. Today the city is a modern metropolis, a mixing pot of culture art and history where all communities are thriving equally. The prestigious University of California, the legendary Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco cable car system all make the city easily one of the best in all of USA.
