City of Phoenix, AZ, is the capital of Arizona state of the United States and is the largest and fifth most populated city in the United States and is one of the largest cities by land area. Phoenix Mountains and South Mountains are situated within the city. The city recieves scant rainfall, average annual being 210 mm.Residents of the City of Phoenix are known as Phoenicians. Several professional sports franchises are in Phoenix which includes Phoenix Suns of the NBA. Phoenix has many waterparks like Big Surf, WetnWild, Oasis Water Part etc. It has two Amusement parks- Castles NCoasters in north Phoenix and Encanto Park in Enchanted Island. The worlds largest municipal park, South Mountain Park, have been established to preserve the desert landscape.
