City of Livonia, MI was incorporated in may 1950 with the area of 36 square miles, it is a part of Wayne Country in the U.S. State of Michigan. Initially pioneers from New England and New York settled there as rich soil and abundant harvests attracted them, in march 1835. The name Livonia was brought by these settlers. For the first 100 years, Livonians raised dairy cattle and sheep and grew various vegetables and grains.
