Selling Gold in Fullerton, CA
Previous home of the famous Christian organization, Focus on the Family, Fullerton, Ca began as a stake in a mustard field. Located north of Anaheim, Ca., California central Railroad sent a George Fullerton, president of the Pacific Land and Improvement Co., to find and purchase land for the railroad right-of-way. In 1887, Mr. Fullerton did just that with free right of ways and half interest in the land from the Amerige brothers George and Edward . In 1894, the descendant of Johnny Appleseed purchased 350 acres of orange orchard at which he revolutionized the citrus industry with the Valencia orange. Three years later, in 1890, another product was found which made the area rich, oil. Finally in 1904, Fullerton, Ca. was incorporated as a city. Later in 1927, with the age of air, a local hog farm/sewer farm became Fullerton Municipal Airport which is still there today.
