The third largest of the state of Michigan, US, is the city Flint, MI which is located along the bank of the Flint River. The city was incorporated in 1855 but the habitat in the city had its existence from far behind in past in the year of 1818. Jacob Smith, who was a fur trader, settled the city in 1819 as a trading post. The first settlers of the area, which is now a part of the city, belonged to New York. Smith distributed many of his holdings among his children. As an ideal stopover on the overland route between the Detroit and Saginaw, t he city grew as a small but prosperous village. The city shares its border with three other cities. The city Flint has humid continental climate.
