Forest covers 65 percent of the state. Virginias shores, mountains, mineral springs, natural wonders and numerous historic sites draw millions of visitors annually.Major tourist attractions include Shanandoah National Park,Collonial Williamsberg and Arlington house, The Rober E Lee memorial. Other historical points of interest include Appomattox Court House National Historical Park, Mannassas and Richmonds national battlefield park, Booker.T.Washington and George Washington birthplace national monuments and several national cementeries and national parks.
