Selling Gold in New Mexico
The state of New Mexico is located in the southwest and was discovered by Francisco Vasquez de Coronado during his search for gold in the middle of the sixteenth century. Shortly after in 1610 the state had founded its capital, Santa Fe. However, New Mexico did not officially become a Part of the U.S. until 1912 making it the 47th state. New Mexico is also known as The Land of Enchantment and for many reasons. First of all, it is home to many great monuments and national parks that receive many visitors each year including Carlsbad Caverns and the White Sands. Secondly, it has very beautiful landscapes that include the spectacular Rio Grande River as well as the Gila National Forest. New Mexico has also seen births of many notable politicians including Carl Hatch and Dennis Chavez. Simply put, New Mexico has been the Land of Enchantment for a while and will continue to do so with its many monumental and environmental sites.
