Selling Gold in Alabama
The 22nd American state, Alabama as incorporated in American Union on December 14, 1819. It was a popular state known for its agricultural activities. Alabama is also known as the Yellowhammer State, which is named after its state bird. The state is located at the confluence of Tallapoosa and Coosa Rivers. The state remained an important trade region and the Ohio Trade route made it even more important. Cotton industry boomed after the American civil war in Alabama and agriculture once again became a major economic resource for the state. Today, the state enjoys a subtropical climate with the hottest summers of the country. Alabama State has many parks and museums among which Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve and Battleship Memorial Park are very popular among the tourists. Richard Shelby and Jeff Sessions are the current US senators from Alabama.
